July 1 – August 31st For Commercial Motor Vehicles
CVSA Brake Safety Week is an annual outreach and enforcement campaign designed to improve commercial vehicle brake safety throughout North America. During the brake safety enforcement campaign, commercial motor vehicle inspectors will conduct brake system inspections on large trucks and buses throughout North America to identify out-of-adjustment brakes and brake-system violations (primarily Level IV Inspections) and placing those with violations out-of-service.
Our Heavy-Duty Vehicle Technicians primary responsibilities include inspection, diagnosing and repair heavy-duty vehicle suspension, brakes, steering systems. Additional responsibilities may include DOT inspections, alignments, and preventive maintenance (oil and filter change). The typical types of vehicles are Class 3-8 trucks (semi’s, fire trucks, dump trucks, box trucks, etc), buses, recreational vehicles, trailers and pick-up trucks. Safe working conditions, no nights or weekends, competitive hourly pay plus incentives (no flat-rate pay), drug-free workplace.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a heavy-duty truck technician, mechanic, or other related fields
CDL license or willing and able to obtain (Paid for by us!)
ASE certifications or willing to obtain
Knowledge of diagnostic and repair equipment
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Deadline and detail-oriented
Driver’s License (Required)
United States work authorization (Required)
GED, High School Degree, or College Degree (NOT REQUIRED)
