Chris is our Shop Foreman at Cleveland Spring located in Cleveland, Ohio.

He has a passion for customer service and a driven tenacity in getting things done! In two and half years of service, Chris has made his way through the ranks to become Shop Foreman. He has been diligent in continuous improvement and training – acquiring Welding, DOT, Bendix and Hunter Certification and his Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).

Outside of the shop, Chris enjoys working on home improvement projects with his wife Joy. Chris and Joy have one son, Elliot, and they have twins on the way!

Heavy-Duty Vehicle Technician

Position is Day Shift, Monday – Friday.

Position Details

Our Heavy-Duty Vehicle Technicians primary responsibilities include inspection, diagnosing and repair heavy-duty vehicle suspension, brakes, steering systems. Additional responsibilities may include DOT inspections, alignments, and preventive maintenance (oil and filter change). The typical types of vehicles are Class 3-8 trucks (semi’s, fire trucks, dump trucks, box trucks, etc), buses, recreational vehicles, trailers and pick-up trucks. Safe working conditions, no nights or weekends, competitive hourly pay plus incentives (no flat-rate pay), drug-free workplace.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a heavy-duty truck technician, mechanic, or other related fields
CDL license or willing and able to obtain (Paid for by us!)
ASE certifications or willing to obtain
Knowledge of diagnostic and repair equipment
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Deadline and detail-oriented
Driver’s License (Required)
United States work authorization (Required)
GED, High School Degree, or College Degree (NOT REQUIRED)
