Team Members Achieve Professional Certification
In the last 6 months several Indianapolis Spring team members successfully passed various ASE Certification tests and two members obtained their CDL license or permits.
A Commercial Driver’s License is required to drive commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) such as tractor trailers, semi-trucks, dump trucks, and passenger buses.
There are three classes of CDLs that determine the kinds of vehicles you’re permitted to drive: Class A, Class B, and Class C. CDL classification is also determined by the vehicle’s gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) and other specific requirements.
Current CDL Endorsements, Permits
Ed Dailey – Class A with Tankers/Triples/Doubles
Randy Trissler – Class A with Doubles/Triples
Austin Farmer – Class B Permit
Antony Kamp – Class B Permit
ASE, is short for the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence. Since 1972 their independent non-profit organization has worked to improve the quality of vehicle repair and service by testing and certifying automotive professionals.
ASE promotes excellence in vehicle repair, service and parts distribution. Almost 300,000 Automotive Technicians and Service Professionals hold ASE Certifications. ASE Certified Professionals work in every part of the automotive service industry. ASE certifies automotive technicians and service professionals, not the auto shops.
